Despite the Pandemic, We Lead On!
When our president, Becky Bakeman, was chosen for the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Scheduling & Dispatch Scholarship Training Award in January, she was expecting to complete the “bootcamp” in- person with leaders from all over the country at an exciting location. However, thanks to the pandemic, the course was changed to a five-week platform, delivered over Zoom, three days a week. It was a deep dive into the environment of all flight department managers through several lenses of leader-ship and team building, while addressing critical challenges and opportunities for growth. “I’m so grateful to NBAA for the scholarship and the opportunity to learn from so many other leaders in the industry,” Becky said. “It’s nice to know that we can move forward, even in a pandemic!”
