Our CX Crosses the Pond
The largest, fastest jet in our fleet is now an official international traveler! Our CX made its inaugural international flight to Ireland this month. Few passengers realize the extra effort it takes a charter company to be FAA-approved to fly over the North Atlantic, but RAI had all safety, crew and maintenance measures in place. Traveling at more than 600mph, the CX made it to Dublin in four hours. The passengers had a great time seeing the sites before RAI flew them home five days later. But not before another adventure—an additional stop on the route home, at passenger request, for lunch in Iceland! The beauty of traveling privately – you can change your schedule! The RAI team was on hand and proud to be a sponsor of the annual Science Innovation Hall of Fame Awards Gala & Dinner which took place at the Kalamazoo AirZoo in April. The event recognized regional educators and high school students doing amazing things in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).
